Lighting Emporium at ALA.

We've returned from ALA (American Lighting Association Conference) and had a wonderful time!  We thought we'd share a few behind the scenes highlights.

1. We shared a booth with XO Lights and together we marketed customized apps to lighting showrooms.  The best part was that we got to create rooms on a 60 inch iPad using the Your Decor App!  Amazing!

2. The social aspect of ALA is fabulous!  Reconnecting each year with vendors, reps and other showrooms makes us look forward to the shows.  Our industry truly is the best!

3. It was a great experience to check out the manufacturers' exhibits.  These exhibits have the latest production introduction that that effect our industry and keep the consumers dazzled and interested.

4. Another great part about attending ALA is the opportunity to listen to the conference speakers. As industry leaders, it's always beneficial to hear from them.  The themed for 2014 is 'Tune Up Your Lighting Knowledge.' We loved it and left feeling inspired.

5. Finally, we loved experiencing the ALA Member Services and Political Action Committee table.  ALA continues to have a presence in the latest educational product and services information in Washington DC.

Here are some photos… because what's a blog post without photos?

Here's a look at the giant iPad! It was really cool design on such a big screen.
